Our huskies are a huge part of our family and live both inside and outside our home. We have large kennel areas outside where they can
romp, play, and dig as huskies are a very energetic breed and need lots of daily exercise. They splash in pools in the summer and bound through the snow in the winter.
They are brushed and groomed daily and we are blessed to have a wonderful veterinarian who provides excellent care for all of them. Their health is extremely important to us and we absolutely refuse to jeopardize this in any way. We breed our huskies not only for temperament but to better the breed. We do not breed for eye color and do not breed often. A lot of consideration and study goes into each potential breeding.
Our females whelp their puppies in our home. The mother and pups are given the utmost care and love during this period as we feel this gives all our puppies a tremendous advantage in life. The first eight weeks of a puppy's life are critical for physical, neurological and emotional growth, We want to give them the very best start we can. We concentrate on producing well socialized, confident healthy puppies through the use of bio sensor exercises, enrichment and socialization that starts at three days of age and continues until our puppies leave our home. We feel this gives us the highest success rates possible for a happy healthy puppy and prevents problem behavior later in a dog's life.
Our dogs are fed a raw diet. After much research, I was astounded to learn how much healthier this is for a dogs physical and dental health. I was amazed at not only how much more they enjoy a raw diet but also how much healthier they look and feel. I would be happy to help any new puppy owner learn more about a raw food diet but will not insist the new owner follow it. If you would prefer your puppy be fed a commercial dog food, I will start the puppy out on the food of your choice. I will also give plenty of information on the raw diet to you in your puppy pack!
We ask that if you've never owned a Siberian Husky, please research the breed before deciding to buy a puppy. They are a very energetic dog and also extremely intelligent. They are amazing escape artists. It is important that you have a fenced area that can safely protect them. If a husky does get loose it is their instinct to run for miles. They are also incredibly social animals and enjoy the company of a pack.You might very well find after welcoming one husky into your home, you're looking for another.
All of our puppies are sold with limited registration unless otherwise agreed upon. They will be up to date on all their puppy shots and worming's and you will receive these records in your new puppy pack. We do give a 2 year genetic health defect guarantee and offer continual support through the life of your new puppy. It is extremely important to us that all of our puppies go to good homes, where they will be loved and cared for as we would. Please don't be offended by all of the questions we might ask you in regards to your home environment and your lifestyle and know that the reason we ask is because we care about our puppies so much.
We do not breed for certain eye colors, nor for quantity. Siberian Huskies can have a variety of eye colors that are accepted by the AKC. We do not profess to know everything there is to know about Siberian Huskies. But we do profess to love our dogs deeply, and to constantly strive to learn more about every aspect of this wonderful breed of dog, about breeding and raising puppies, and about caring for them in the best way possible as they have truly blessed us by being a part of our lives.
